Bar Review

Archipelago

Living in D.C. while having a slight tiki obsession can leave one with few options, but luckily D.C. has Archipelago for other tiki lovers to get their fix.

D.C.’s first and arguably most famous tiki bar has become a go-to for many tiki enthusiasts looking for a short escape from D.C. life. It is a very laid back tiki bar where the cocktails truly outshine everything else.

The Drinks

Truck Bed Funeral

mezcal, navy strength rum, peach cordial, grapefruit, cinnamon

Two of my favorites: Rum and Mezcal, how could this not be amazing? The rum paired with the mezcal was a pairing I didn’t know I needed, but I am glad I know now. The cinnamon was perfect to round out the drink.

Pineapple Hospitality

rum, secrets

They are mysterious about what they put into the Pineapple Hospitality meant for at least 2 people, but whatever is in their is amazing!
